a social hub for more than 1.25 million users, is testing a new feature to be launched on WhatsApp Beta version of iOS.

There had been a ‘search’ option in WhatsApp before, but that only aided in searching for certain keywords in the conversations and also those for only messages.

But the advanced search, on the other hand, will enable users to search documents, links, images, gifs, and all other forms of files from a conversation.

The feature is being officially tested on the Beta version and is expected to be launched in the next WhatsApp update.
