In addition to it’s out of the world direction and script, it depicts our society in a gentle way and at the same time, it delivers an incredibly powerful message related to Gender Equality.
These athletes have been shown in the advertisement as role models to the women in society who have talent but are oppressed by Gender Discrimination. These role models have shown the world how strong a woman can be and Nike has supported the vision. The ad says:
“If we want to play against men, we’re nuts. And if we dream of equal opportunity, we’re delusional. When we stand for something, we’re unhinged. When we’re too good, there’s something wrong with us. And if we get angry, we’re hysterical, irrational, or just being crazy. “
People on social media are going crazy after watching the ad, and it is definitely a constructive campaign from Nike, as always expected from a leading sports brand of the world.
